Quantum Asturias

An ecosystem that connects research, technology and industry to bring quantum technologies from fundamental research into real-world applications.

It builds on existing capabilities, projects and initiatives in the region, with links to public programmes at national and European level, fostering knowledge transfer into practical use cases and enabling new collaborations.

QHPC Group - University of Oviedo

Connected to the wider quantum ecosystem

From Asturias, the initiative connects to national and international quantum ecosystems through strategic networks, projects and initiatives.

CTIC contributes to the European standardisation framework in quantum technologies (CEN-CENELEC/JTC 22), including Quantum Computing and Simulation.

The QHPC Group (University of Oviedo) is part of Quantum Spain, a national initiative focused on quantum infrastructure, algorithms and applications.

CTIC and the QHPC group at the University of Oviedo jointly collaborate on European quantum technologies proposals, with a particular focus on quantum computing and EuroHPC JU initiatives.
